Give me a break
Some politicians out there are trying to create a "guest worker" program for illegal immigrants that are working here in the USA. Why in the world are we looking to say to these illegals "you snuck over the border and you probably have taken advantage of millions of dollars in tax-funded services. It's OK, we'll just document you now and forget the whole thing." COME ON!! We need to hold these people accountable for breaking our laws and extorting services from our government agencies.
The solution as I see it is 2-fold. We need to plug the holes in our border so we stop the influx of illegal immigrants, and then we need to get these people that we have TAXED as soon as possible.

they wouldn't come here if their country was as special and awesome as ours. i agree that illegal immigration should be stopped, however, we should focus on trying to better their country, rather than kicking them out. b/c if we kick them out, they'll just come back. however, if they leave on their own accord, they'll stay away.

yea, that's what we are doing in Iraq, and look how people like that. SOME Americans don't believe in Nation Building. (ie. Extreme left democrats)
