Sometimes life throws you a little happy moment in the form of relief. A girl at work who I was at odds with (she broke the rules, I enforce) pretty much fired herself by calling off one day, and simply not showing up the next. In White Castle's book, she just resigned.

I probably should not be happy that this person is not working now, but hey, it'll make my days a lot easier.
